The heart of the experience lies in the layers of flavor—comforting, bright, and nuanced—spread across traditional dishes served with a genuine touch. From the earthy richness of mofongo paired with tender, well-seasoned meats, to the satisfying heartiness of a slow-cooked stew, the menu calls for exploration and shared enjoyment.
The atmosphere pairs well with the no-pretense service from a team that seems to care quietly but deeply about what they do. This balance between friendly efficiency and culinary dedication invites you to relax and relish familiar flavors done right. I frequently travel to and from this area, and this spot came highly recommended by locals. While the service is straightforward and cafeteria-style, don't let that fool you—the food is genuinely exceptional. We ordered the beef stew and the rotisserie chicken, and the flavor was just wow! The seasoning is perfectly balanced and flavorful without being overwhelming, and the cubed beef in the stew practically melts in your mouth. I'm genuinely glad to have discovered such a reliable and delicious place to eat whenever I'm back in town.

The Legendary Lelo's in Orange city. Their Rotisserie Chicken is Legendary and if you haven't tried it your doing yourself a disservice. Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Definitely a Latin staple here in the Deltona/Orange city/Deland area. Check it out with confidence it's worth it! Blessings

My husband and I have come to Lelo’s BBQ twice already, and the food is absolutely delicious! It’s true Puerto Rican cuisine — full of flavor and cooked with care. You can really tell the team works hard to provide quality food. For us Latinos, especially Puerto Ricans, this place feels like home. The food tastes authentic, and everything we’ve tried so far has been great. The Tres Leches is my favorite — not everyone can make it right, but theirs is amazing! The flan was okay, not my favorite, but still enjoyable. The only thing I’d suggest is turning down the music a little. The speakers are pretty loud, and it can make it hard to have a normal conversation. If they adjust the volume, it would make the atmosphere so much better. Other than that, everything else is wonderful — great food, great service, and a taste of Puerto Rico right here! ????????

My husband and I love this restaurant, we went yesterday for lunch and it was so good. We didn’t have to wait too long to be served, even though it was packed. The staff were very friendly and polite, great food selection, it was fresh and delicious.

Tried this place for lunch and it was well worth it. Portuons are big and food was great. Get there early as rhis place gets really busy at lunch time. I had the shredded beef, steak yucca and sweet plantains.

Always try places yourself. Girls were nice, the place looked clean, the food tasted good and for a good price. Didn't try the desserts. We bought combo familiar #3 mitad pollo mitad lechón y ambos buenos de sabor
